Volunteers make sure boats are bow first and that they have their oars down and have all of the members of their crew, as well as a bow number on their boat. This is the last place to turn the boats around or pull them out of line if they are too early for their event.<\/p><p><b>Dock Workers &#8211; Incoming:\u00a0<\/b>Incoming dock workers assist rowers as they return from their races, helping them safely dock their boats, exit the water, and prepare for post-race activities. Please note that this position is on the temporary docks, which are less stable<\/p><p><b>Dock Workers &#8211; Outgoing:\u00a0<\/b>Outgoing dock workers aid rowers as they prepare to launch their boats for upcoming races, ensuring they have all necessary equipment and that the boats are in proper condition.<\/p><p><b>Inside Park Traffic:\u00a0<\/b>Inside park traffic volunteers manage traffic within the venue, directing vehicles to designated areas, monitoring traffic flow for safety, and guiding participants and spectators to their respective locations, including handicap lots, food drop-off, sculler parking and volunteer parking.<\/p><p><b>Inside Park Traffic Near Boatlaunch:<\/b> This volunteer location is at the top of the powerboat ramp, near the waterside of the grass turn-around island. The volunteer&#8217;s main job is to keep an eye on incoming and outgoing traffic. With your back to the river, outgoing (going to the dock) traffic will be in the right lane and incoming (coming off from the water) traffic will be on your left.
